I love oats, especially during the middle of the week because I’m too exhausted to cook. These are so easy to make and the prep time is minimal.

This recipe is rich, chocolatey, and feels like dessert for breakfast — but it’s wholesome and comforting at the same time.
Every spoonful tastes like melted chocolate meets warm porridge, especially when topped with whipped cream, mini marshmallows, and a dusting of cocoa.
This is my go-to cozy breakfast during the holidays because it’s quick, filling, and makes the entire kitchen smell like Christmas.
Let’s get to it!

Tips to Make it Even Better!
Use Dutch-processed cocoa powder for a richer chocolate flavor.
For extra creaminess, stir in a tablespoon of vegan dark chocolate chips while cooking.
A pinch of instant espresso (like this espresso powder) deepens the cocoa flavor beautifully.
Top with zero-sugar whipped cream if you want to keep it light but indulgent.
Don’t skip the salt — it balances the sweetness and makes the chocolate taste bolder.
